Michigan has a tough road assignment this week in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge as they head to Maryland to play the 5-2 Terrapins. I think we all know Maryland beat Michigan State 80-62. They followed that game up with two more very tough match ups. They lost to Gonzaga 81-59 and then lost to Georgetown 75-48.
Maryland relies heavily upon junior guard Greivis Vasquez who is averaging 20.0 points per game, 5.8 rebounds per game, and 4.8 assists per game.
For Michigan to win this game they will need some better three point shooting. Manny will have to be Manny and DeShawn Sims, who Coach Beilein said has become a warrior, will have to continue his stellar play.
If the Wolverines can pull this one off and win at College Park that would look really nice on the resume next to that UCLA win on a neutral court.
